BML is proud to offer one of the best Heights Safety induction courses in Australia. Our course, CPCCCM1006A Work Safely at Heights, can be customised and contextualised to any industry situation. Clients include the communications industry, construction companies, agricultural companies and water authorities.
We also have special heights safety courses, designed exclusively for the mining industry. This includes the mining National Training Package unit RIIOHS204A Work Safety at Heights .
BML's Heights Safety training is available as a module of the Advanced Confined Space Safety course, or as a stand-alone one-day training session, to suit your needs.
The courses covers the selection, fit, use and maintenance of a variety of heights safety equipment, including:
- Harnesses
- Lanyards
- Fall arrest devices
- Ropes and static lines
- Tripods and davits
- Anchorage points
- Scaffolding
- Ladders
It also covers the relevant legislation for working at heights and includes instruction on hazard identification and risk assessment

All courses include extensive practical work and simulated rescues.
